Fall Collection Traditional Buckle Collar 3/4"

Traditional Buckle Collars:

Using a soft measuring tape, wrap the measuring tape around your dog's neck where a collar would usually sit.

If measuring an existing traditional buckle collar: Start from the middle of the buckle, where the Biothane attaches and note the measurement of the hole that your dog's current collar is set on.

For a quick release buckle:

Start from the female end, including the buckle part of the female end. Measure to the end of the Biothane (not including the pronged male end).

Brass:

Our solid brass hardware is naturally rust-resistant, making it a durable choice for everyday adventures and wet conditions. Over time, brass naturally oxidizes and may develop a natural patina, adding character without affecting its strength or performance.

Brass Hardware may leave tarnish marks where it lays against the Biothane. This may be especially noticeable with lighter colors. We recommend removing these marks with a magic eraser or small amount of rubbing alcohol.

Stainless Steel:

Our stainless steel hardware is strong and durable, built to withstand everyday wear, heavy use, and all kinds of adventures. Highly resistant to rust and corrosion, it performs exceptionally well in wet conditions while maintaining its strength and polished appearance. Combining durability, reliability, and a sleek modern finish, stainless steel is an excellent choice for active dogs and their owners.

Keeping your Biothane gear looking it's best is easy!

• Wipe clean wipe a damp cloth after everyday use
• For dirt, mud, or salt, wash with warm water and mild soap, then rinse thoroughly
• Dry with a soft towel or allow to air dry completely before storing
• Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach or abrasive cleaners as they can damage the hardware and finish
• Store in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight to avoid fading
• For safety, regularly inspect your gear and hardware for signs of wear especially if used frequently by strong pullers
• For stubborn tarnish marks due to the oxidization of Brass hardware, use a magic eraser or small amount of rubbing alcohol

Biothane is a leather alternative that is durable, water-proof, stink-proof and easy to clean.

All leashes are made with standard Biothane. This Biothane has a look and feel similar to leather. It has a low gloss or "dull" finish and is soft and flexible. Biothane will maintain it's flexibility in very cold weather (great for those long Canadian winters). Standard Biothane is made with a B10 webbing that has a 1000 lb per inch of width break-strength. 5/8 inch Biothane has approx 600lb break-strength and 3/4 inch has approx 750lb break-strength.
